Markets are in survival mode, as Trump tariffs on various countries escalate into a trade war and the threat of a government shutdown looms. The S&P, Dow Jones and Nasdaq (on the verge of a correction), have lost considerable gains in the aftermath of the week’s geopolitical and trade tariff events.

But it is not all doom and gloom. The volatile markets offer opportunities to ‘buy the dip’. This means buying quality stock at lower prices when markets dip. Investors can buy more stock for less money and increase their possible earnings and growth when markets rebound.

AI wonder kid Palantir Technologies Inc. (the world’s leading provider of enterprise operating systems) and Databricks, have announced a strategic product partnership that combines Palantir’s world-class AI operating system with Databricks’ leading platform for AI, data warehousing and data engineering.

Battle-tested improvements for joint customers in the field, allow Palantir and Databricks to deliver real-time, AI-powered autonomous workflows to customers through integrating the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and Palantir AIP.

By reducing technical and operational challenges, customers can integrate Generative AI (GenAI) into their workflows more efficiently and cost-effectively. This results in faster deployment of autonomous processes, ultimately maximising the value of their data and improving business outcomes.
