Markets are volatile, and inflation is here to stay. The FED has upped interest rates for the first time in three years, and the UK and Japan could follow soon.
“You’re in a market where certain sectors are continuing to win; last week, energy was up 8%, and the banking sector will make more margin with higher interest rates. Right now, review your portfolio; don’t get left behind. Inflation is high; invest in real assets, gold, and stocks that will go up in this environment. This world is changing fast; you know it, I know, keep up to date.” – Nigel Green, deVere CEO.
If you are holding investments where inflation is wiping out returns, now is the time to review your portfolio. Opportunities exist if you know where to look. The energy sector is still booming with the increase in AI and data centres, and the banking sector will make more margin with higher interest rates.
Investments such as structured notes could see better potential returns.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says they will sell double the number of chips in 2027. This includes GPUs for AI, central processors, switch chips, chips for optical networking, laptop chips, Jetson chips for robots, and cars and the chip inside Nintendo’s Switch 2 gaming console.
This comes after the chip giant is projected to grow 70% next year to around $ 673 billion.
Huang told the media at a summit with King Charles III in Scotland. “The reason for that is because AI has, has so much contribution to the benefits of different industries, different economies, and you can see that in almost every single country that we’re in, people want to invest in AI.”
Its most famous chips are the Blackwell and Rubin, with Nvidia shipping 6 million Blackwell GPUs in 4 quarters.
In a week where the safety of AI has been questioned, Nvidia seems unstoppable.
