Is inflation getting you down? Many investors are concerned about inflation and rightly so. Inflation matters. Inflation devalues the money you’ve got invested and causes the price of everyday goods to increase.
What should you do as an investor? Make sure that your money is invested in the right areas. Higher inflation encourages stock investment, but ensure your portfolio remains diversified.
“With increasing prices, make sure you are in the right industry. Look for industries that are expanding where you could grow your income in line with inflation.” – Nigel Green
Don’t follow the latest trends or hype. Consult with an expert wealth manager who understands the markets. The goal of investing is to grow and preserve capital.
Apple’s iPhone sales soared 22% from last year’s iPhone sales with the launch of the new iPhone 17. The iPhone 17 accounted for more than 4/5 of units sold. Despite intense competition from Xiaomi and Huawei, Apple’s flagship store drew hundreds of people.
Apple sold more units in the US and China than the iPhone 16 did in its first 10 days of sales. This shows an increase in confidence for Apple consumers.
The most sold units were the base model rather than the iPhone 17 Pro, as consumers saw it as a better value for money, especially in China. The base model has almost all of the Pro’s features with a better chip, improved display, higher base storage and a better selfie camera upgrade.
It seems value for money is what consumers are looking for in this day and age, as inflation is driving up the cost of goods. Apple has hit the nail on the head by delivering exactly what consumers want. It seems that Apple is on its way back to the top of Mobile dominance.
