Slimming Drugs and Sports Apparel & Luxury Industry Goes Canine

Companies making waves right now amid the market correction are pharmaceutical industry giants Eli Lilly, which showed an 8% surge in stock prices after quarterly earnings defied expectations from its star drugs, diabetes medication ‘Mounjaro’ and weight loss injection ‘Zepbound’, and Viatris stock jumped over 2% with $3.79 billion in revenue. Athletics apparel company Under Armour, saw a 6% rise as revenue of $1.18 billion came in above expectations. Weight loss pharmaceuticals and sports apparel seem to be the winning combination this quarter.

Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has launched an alcohol-free mist for dogs priced at just over $100 a pop. It is packaged in a glass bottle with a 24-carat gold-plated paw on it. This canine fashion fragrance was inspired by Fefe, the pampered pooch of brand owner Domenico Dolce. The scent blends notes of ylang ylang, musk, and sandalwood. It seems that papering one’s pooch has no boundaries if money is not an issue.
