Best Investment Right Now

Investing can be confusing and overwhelming for even the savviest investor. Markets can take unexpected turns. First AI-related companies are the best thing since sliced bread and show spectacular growth by hundreds of percentages, then the AI market wobbles and then rebounds. Will this bull market continue? Banking and energy companies are steadily performing well, for now. Economists predict that volatility will continue into 2026.

So what does a savvy investor need to do to achieve a certain level of stability? Diversify, diversify, diversify. Don’t carry all your eggs in one basket or invest too heavily in one sector or company, despite the hype. A diversified portfolio investing in various asset classes, regions and sectors is the ideal way to build a long-term portfolio and help spread risk and volatility.

Chat with a financial adviser to help build a long-term portfolio that can withstand the ups and downs in the markets.

US president Donald Trump has paved the way for compact fuel-efficient cars to be made and sold in the US. This comes after he became enamoured with the tiny kei cars on a recent trip to Japan.

“They’re very small, they’re really cute, and I said ‘How would that do in this country?’” Trump told reporters on Wednesday, as he outlined plans to relax Biden-era fuel efficiency standards.

Currently, these ultra compact fuel-efficient cars are not allowed to be manufactured in the US and don’t meet federal standards, and many believe they would to slow or weak to drive among the hulking trucks of American roads. Trump has authorised Transport secretary Sean Duffy to approve production and clear the deck for the likes of Toyota Motor Corp and other carmakers to build and sell these mini cars.

Is this just a geopolitical bargaining chip between the US and Japan or will there be a new vehicle niche in the US soon?
