Thailand’s future global financial centre & Netflix dominates streaming
Thailand plans to introduce new legislation later this year to attract foreign investment and make it a global financial centre. The new business laws would allow for easy regulation and license issues for the banking, securities, derivatives, digital assets, and insurance industries. This decision could change Thailand’s economy and attract funds, professionals and expert knowledge.
Netflix proved once again that it is a force to be reckoned with in the streaming world as it exceeds revenue expectations. The streaming giant saw a 34% growth in ad-supported membership and a 16.5% increase in paid membership to 278 million. Revenue increased by 17% to $9.6 billion. It seems there is money to be made in couch potato streaming.
