Apple plans to launch its next-gen iPhone SE model as soon as next week. The fourth-generation iPhone will feature a revamped design with a 48MP front-facing camera and a significant boost to its hardware. They also plan to launch PowerBeats Pro 2 under their Beats by Dr. Dre brand. The earbuds boast advanced features, including a built-in heart rate monitor. The budget-friendly phone is expected to be powered by the A18 chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16, coupled with 8GB RAM. This configuration could allow the phone to support Apple Intelligence.

There are over 35000 pieces of space debris orbiting the Earth. This space junk consists mainly of defunct satellites launched into space over the last 60 years and rocket parts. There is a very real threat of orbital collisions.

Startup ClearSpace of Switzerland, in conjunction with Omega, are actively working to find a solution for the growing space junk problem orbiting Earth. Scheduled to launch in 2028, it will target the European Space Agency’s first autonomous spacecraft, Proba-1. It aims to capture, envelope and secure it, slow it down, and release it into Earth’s atmosphere to burn up over point Nemo in the South Pacific.

With the satellites getting smaller and cheaper, the space economy is expected to boom over the next decade, worth $1.8 trillion. Space junk disposal will become a booming industry.

Could it be that aerospace tech start-ups specialising in junk removal will become the new super sector?
